• There is free on-street parking outside of the property from 5pm in the evenings until 9am in the mornings (noon on Sundays), and then for 3 hours at a time during the day. We’ll provide you with a disc clock for your dashboard.

    For long-stay parking, the nearest paid car park is on Albion Rd, Scarborough, YO11 2BT (a 3 minute walk away). It costs £6 for 24 hours.

    Alternatively, for free long-stay parking, it is possible to park outside of Scarborough's parking zone areas. The closest streets are a 5 minute walk away to the south.

  • Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay at The Artist’s House free of charge. All we ask is that you bring doggy towels to wipe muddy/sandy paws and doggy blankets to protect our furniture.

  • Please note there are steps/stairs to access all apartments.

    Externally there are steps up to the front door.

    Access to The Maisonette is on the ground floor. Within the apartment there are stairs down to the kitchen and bathroom.

    Access to The Garden Flat is on the ground floor. Within the apartment there are stairs up to the bedroom and bathroom.

    Access to The Grand Bay is on the first floor. Internally the apartment is then on one level.

    Access to The Artist’s Studio is on the second floor. Internally the apartment is then on one level.

  • You can check into your apartment from 3pm.

    We operate a self check in process and will provide all the details you need a couple of days before your stay.

  • Check out is at 10am.

    Although the apartment will receive a full clean, we just ask guests to help us by washing up, putting away any kitchen equipment and taking any rubbish out.

  • Situated in South Cliff, The Artist’s House is perfectly positioned for Scarborough’s attractions and amenities.

    A short walk away you’ll find the best viewpoint of South Bay and the cliff lift down to the beach. Plus, it's only a 10-minute walk into town and Scarborough’s shops, bars and restaurants. It truly is a stunning area to explore!
